According to this article: Bell to double download speed for High-Speed Internet - Improve upload performance by five times, we're getting a speed bump in January or so.
Posted by jason at December 29, 2003 02:57 PM | TrackBackNo matter how fast the line can technically go for Bell, there is still issues with central stations within each neighbourhood. I had to switch back to Rogers because Bell's central station was 7km from my house. It was technically impossible for me to get high speed internet because they refused to upgrade the systems within my community. Sure some customers can get improved service, but not this one.
