Typing in the past...

On Jason O'Grady's PowerPage I found a link to The ElectriClerk. Go. Look at it. It is great. It is wonderful. It is a William S. Burroughesque/Brazilesque mechanical/digital monstrosity of beauty.

Jason
I was thinking of you this evening
(Merry belated Christams New years etc...)
Have been impaled on memories of late...
Have been forgetful and mindless -- for that I appologise...
I had an epiphany the last time we walked the queens streets and would love to repeat it...
Care to join me.
The shaken one

The ElectriClerk is WONDERFUL. Where can I buy one? Somebody had to do this -- like all brilliant ideas, it seems so obvious once done. It integrates the idea of pastness with the computer's presence and constant future-pressure; it adds irony, which makes it credible to the postmodern; and it breathes a kindly humour which is blessedly subversive. Yea!
